By all means, believe what you want to believe. My dear friend thanks her God for a beautiful day. She is happy… in her own logic. I see the same beautiful day and I am happy too. I may not be thanking a God like she is, I thank the rain that that we had yesterday that brough about this cool front and blew away the clouds, I thank nature, but we are both happy for such an obviously beautiful day.
Most things we can agree on, that is if she is willing to see that we can be happy people by our own means. When she starts feeling sad for me because she thinks I will go to hell, or when I start feeling sad for her because she is frightened by such a make-believe place, then that is where our happiness is being dwindeled.
I am not sad for you, religious that you are, you are happy in your own way. Please see that I am happy too, in my own way, and we can move on.
